About Masahiko Honma:
Masahiko Honma has been a Venture Capitalist since he first started his journey in Silicon Valley as a Venture Capitalist at JAFCO after graduating from Keio University. In 2007, he started his first fund, Corepeople Partners, from which he made about 10X fund returns, from seed investments in Gumi (which went IPO in 2014), Minna no Wedding (which went IPO in 2014), and Pokelabo (which was acquired in 2012). And then, together with his ex-colleagues and friends who were venture capitalists, they co-founded Incubate Fund in 2010.
As an investor, he believes in standing firm in his support of companies he invested in, try to bring success to the business together with the entrepreneurs and be a flat partner to the entrepreneurs as much as possible. The industry of venture capitals is a new and immature industry, although its value expected from society is great. Incubate Fund itself continues to explore the shape of a stronger and new venture capital as an entrepreneur in Japan and Asia.
Impact Hub Singapore has also established our own seed-stage investment fund, if you are fundraising do approach firstname.lastname@example.org.
